Yeah they are definitely both winners compared to almost everyone on earth. They both have great discipline and determination to even make it into that octagon.
And I wish all fighters would fight like that. Leaning in and going the attack. There's that other more common mode of fighting where both guys seem way too relaxed and they play patty cake and they look for openings and fight for points. But we saw above is very rare for me and I've been watching MMA for 10 years
@@brooklynmack4503 The best defence is attack in all combat sports. What is needed is to keep your chin low and your arms high. Plus, the opponent was obviously counting more on his legs and was surprised by the super fast counter.

Pandemic fighting is by far my favorite time I've ever watched MMA. Hearing every strike and the coaches calls in real time made it feel like they were fighting for the viewers only. It felt more personal. As if I was watching the final fight between the good guy and bad guy at the end of the movie where they sneak into a empty gym to leave it all on the line.

Respect for the professionalism the winner displayed holding that second punch back, especially considering the speed and intensity of every other strike/combo he threw

I'd love to see lineker vs topuria. When hands of stone is on point he's a problem for anyone below 170 lbs and I'm confident in saying that he has enough power to sleep most heavyweights. His chin is exceptional too but they have weight classes for a reason. I think him and figgy would make for an exciting matchup as well.

Me encanta la lucha y la practico pero me hago esta pregunta ; después de un KO que sentido tiene tres cuatro golpes mas si no tiene defensa? Esos tres o cuatro golpes sin defensa son los peligrosos y son lo que realmente hacen daño al MMA , se han de cambiar las normas o desaparecerá.

That man who wins and fights against a left-handed man and is right-handed is a gladiator, he has a great arsenal of punches, if you put him in a motorcycle bar you just have to count them as he takes them out with pure punches.
The guy who won is a very sloppy fighter but strong... very easy win for a more experienced fighter. Using body kicks, foot work, timed jabs, leg kicks and alot of movement, this guy would be tired by the second round. Marcus brimage used to fight like that until he met Conor

The ONLY reason you don't know of him in the UFC is because Dana had a falling out with him and cut him from the promotion. Linekar was an unstoppable force who insisted on fighting in the wrong weight divison and missing weight because of it. He literally could not be KO'd. He ate everything. Was disappointing to see him leave the promotion and become a journey man that present day keyboard casuals write engagement farming BS about. Dude could have been an all time legend. Everyone who ever tried to stand toe to toe with him went to sleep. Everyone 😌😌

Raw game in the battle arena. But still, there's more to the heart than grieving. The opponent dropped, so instinctive verification didn't go overboard but a gentleman's blow and that was it. And it is not for nothing that the unconscious kicks or continue with ten punches when the game is already over anyway. A true fighter knows his limits.
if it was two skinny guys fighting like that in the street you'd just think "wow, that's awful, that's ugly, they've never fought in their lives", but as it's two pumped up guys swinging their arms non-stop until one falls over, it makes it look cool

MMA needs to be in Olympics where fighters from all major promotions (UFC, One, Belator etc) compete against each other without crying about matchups or who deserves to fight who
