Great Britain made a big mistake. They should had took the New Territories instead of leasing it for 99 years. Then there would be no chances for Mainland to take HK back.

Does anyone know who the first Hong Kong winner under the new flag and the Chinese national Anthem? After 2047 HK Olympic team will disband and merged into the Chinese team. Sadly for HK sports teams there is no more Commonwealth games for them!
@DavBlc7 firstly, sorry for my poor english. i come from HK, not well-educated and i don't know much on grammar. but many of us are loyal to her majesty and 3.5 million of us holding british national (overseas), also over 200K HKers are british citizen. there are strong ties between UK and HK. we do proud of being colony of you british! i hope one day britannia can reign over us again!! UK & HK are one family. we are sons of her majesty!
Dunno y ppl give u thumb down cox ur so true. my dad moved to HK with grand dad and he holds a mainland passport (not even BNO) but he sings God Save the QUeen when England has a football match. That's just part of our history. B4 97, the society was a lot more tolerant and open mind. i no a lot in mainland aren't happy abt HK cox some policies are seen to lean towards HK etc, which just sux 4 us Thing is our SAR gov is accountible to Beijing not to us.
@FB4822 the other one is from New Zealand, the country has its own national anthem, God Save the Queen, on the other hand, is the Royal Anthem of New Zealand
@ianmann64 Next HK medal will see the HKSAR flag rising and the next HK gold medal winner will be hearing "March of the Volunteers" instead of "God Save the Queen" So far there has been no gold medals for HK since the handover. Do any of you know how many HK medal winner of any colours since the handover?
