Hi, folks!
We are back with some more orchestral/symphonic works by veteran circle Kitsune's Workshop, otherwise known as Fox Factory, and apparently now as Fox Laboratory, according to VGMDB.
Their newest album, 東方幻想界 地霊殿の音 (Touhou Gensoukai -Chireiden no Oto-), is an album dedicated to Subterranean Animism, so if you're a fan of the music from Touhou 11, then this album will definitely catch your eye.
This track caught my ear from the get-go. The instrumentation doesn't fight for your attention as is usually the case with larger orchestral works, nor are you constantly bombarded with complex chords and sweeping melodies. But even so, there's an air of sophistication to this piece that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe I've just learned to associate Classical-style music with complexity.
Regardless, I hope you'll enjoy this album as much as I did. IT's definitely been a refreshing and welcomed change of pace from the past few albums.
