2:11-2:44 Took a Jojo reference to listen to the song the stand's named after, but I never noticed that Highway Star solo here till yesterday. Demetori is a genius.
After 7 years of listening to this song I finally figured out where I've heard that solo before. Highway Star by Deep Purple ... Deep Purple ... Deep P Sky I am not smart.
Hmph, this is the same song from the last video except that one was arranged by Doppelman. While this one is the metal/rock mix of that song made by Demetori. Even though Greenwich of the sky is arranged by two different artists, they're both awesome to me.
***** It _is_ quite strange that game music (and, as the above demonstrates, its remixes) has become the cream of the milk when it comes to music in general with so-called "professional" musicians just producing, well, crap, isn't it? I mean, looking at my current playlists, they're filled with music produced by ZUN (as well as his fans), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy series), Yoko Shimomura (Parasite Eve, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, Street Fighter II), Michiru Yamane (Castlevania, Suikoden 3&4, Skullgirls and various other games) and Daisuke Ishiwatari (of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue fame). There's some other music produced by others as well, of course, (e.g., Voltaire, Creature Feature and Tom Lehrer, but his music probably doesn't count since it's from the early 60's,) but, yeah, I'd say the best music I have right now is game music.
This is perhaps my all time favourite arrangement, no fuck that, It IS my all time favourite *Slams guitar and drum kit on the ground in joy and makes epic pose*
YAY!!! demetori again!!! :D whenever I listen to this arrange, i think, that it would be a perfect Opening song for a "girl-protagonisted" vampire anime :D it just give me this feeling... What do you think about this? O.o agree??
