So here is my entry for the Cataclysm Suite collaboration project. This project features several orchestral arrangers from the western side of the Touhou fanbase. The theme of this suite is "the end of the world". I didn't intend at first to arrange this particular song, but I realized that this song was so fitting and deep down I really wanted to arrange this song one day. The problem with Nuclear Fusion is that it it's so hard (almost impossible) to make it as epic as the original. But in the end, I really like how some parts turned out.

@@IceWrenSolstice I had previously put the subtitles on for another Video, but RU-vid keeps it on for further Videos. I noticed that they put something on the screen. At first I thought it was automatically generated and randomly caught on to something. Its quite well integrated, and while you notice it, it does fit in, so there is little reason to question it. Then curiosity got the better of me, and I wanted to know whether it was put in as a message. And, lo and behold, it was! Eastereggs like these are great. I had a good laugh, thanks :D (I still remember that there is one in the primordial beat Arrangement on Lowlands Blossom, which no one found yet, as far as I know...)

If you eat it, you can obtain its power and use it for the betterment of the living and the dead! Okuu: Yeah sounds nice, but I think I'm just gonna use it to take over the world instead. Goodbye!

Utsuho's theme has a lot of power to it, for sure but the character in itself is seen more as a birdbrain than an actual threat. That's why I always found weird that her theme sounded so...intimidating, I mean sure her power is threatening but this is only because of the fact that she doesn't know how to use it. As for this remix, I felt it sounded a bit more like Utsuho was...twisted at the start, but then the theme makes you feel as if she lost something, especially with those vocals. So...I'm gonna go with "Utsuho lost a friend, probably in front of her own eyes and wants to take revenge." It's weird and surely sounds stupid but again...that's how the music made me feel. And well, I can only congratulate you for making such music that is giving me such emotion.

I'M SO HAPPY WITH HOW THIS TURNED OUT the string parts at 1:38 and 2:58 are my favorite part in this, the choir is so nice when it kicks in the second time PLUS the descending harp runs are amazing

Love how you arrange string and choire part. Normally Utsuho's theme always got rearragend not much different from its origin that I couidn't tell if there were any difference between each remix.
