Toby first arranged Necrofantasia when he was in high school, as a piano cover for his church. The third motif is at 1:30, Bad Apple!! by Alstroemeria Records. The electric guitar plays the chorus' melody.

You can tell that Battle Against a True Hero was a love letter to Touhou music. Then, ZUN, himself, covers the leitmotifs of that song in this mashup with UN Owen, Toby taking command of the Touhou leitmotifs. And let's face it, 1:21 was Toby going "AYO ZUN GUESS WHAT MY FAVORITE SONG FROM YOU IS". Also goddamn, the zunpet part of BAaTH was what I've been waiting to hear in this mashup, and ZUN took it to 11.

If any Undertale song would've been a part of an official Touhou collaboration, Battle Against a True Hero definitely makes the most sense. That song always sounded a lot like a Touhou song to me.

For me, Toby Fox and ZUN are the two best independent game and music creators ...

both games. Both fall under Bullet hell, (touhou and Undertale), two creators. One took inspiration from the other 2 perfectly good songs on their own right. (Flan's theme, and Undyne's Genocide theme) I highly doubt we can have a better collab than this, ever again.
