蝶マニアが輸入して放蝶したことで定着したとされる外来種です。
子どもの頃は「世界の蝶」の図鑑に載っているような種類でした。図鑑を眺めながら、遠い南の森の虫たちのことを想像したものです。
初めて見る蝶に嬉しい気持ちはありますが、どうしても「台湾の蝶の谷で会いたかったなぁ」と思ってしまいます。

While encountering a butterfly for the first time brings joy, one can't help but wish, 'I wish I could have met them in the butterfly valley of Taiwan.'
