In Tromsø, you can join the Reindeer sledding tour during the winter. This cute little city up in the Arctic Circle is the perfect place to try out this classic Nordic activity.
Basically, you'll get to hop on a sled that's pulled by some well-trained reindeer as you glide through the snowy landscapes around Tromsø. The Sami people, who are the indigenous folks of this region, lead these tours and they'll teach you all about their reindeer-herding traditions while you're out on the trail.
