河南农村小年习俗--祭灶神Small Years Customs in Henan Rural Area-Sacrifice to the Kitchen God 

在中国每年农历的腊月二十三，被称作小年，在河南这天家家户户吃灶糖，祭拜灶神，喝面条或者吃饺子。On the twenty-third of the twelfth lunar month of the Chinese lunar calendar every year, it is called a small year. On this day in Henan, every household eats stove sugar, worships the stove god, drinks noodles or eats dumplings.
