Hung Gar training- Da Saam Sing
This tradition Kung Fu exercise will help strengthen the bones in your forearms. Hung Gar Kung Fu is famous with its "strong bridge" (solid forearms) so you can hit or block hardly in a fight. Remember to target both side of your arms (aim the bones, not the muscles) when you practise "Da Saam Sing" exercise on a solid object, hit gently if you are a beginner. It is important to apply Chinese medicine "Dit Da Jow" after practise. It helps strengthen the bones and speed up recovery from bruises.

Wow! You are a shining star just like your father. I wish I could get my wife to train some kung fu and to do it with this kind of attitude. For the sake of our marriage I had to give up trying to make her do it after about 10 minutes of something much easier than this. Best wishes to you and your family.

Yes, the old ways are still around. Back in 1990 I trained with a master in San Jose, CA. I was 16. Hitting the wall pads and dummy hundreds of times, striking rice, long pole training. Partner sparring and hitting forearms was always creating bruises and pain. Dit Da Jow was a big recovery ingredient for everyone. Always wondered what was in it, but the secret was never told.

Iron arms is for breaking the bridge not just removing the less weapons your opponent has to strike you with the better but if you destroy limbs in the movie there is less action but if you watch the protector when he takes out entire room thats hung kuen its anti grappling so you grab me I counter by breaking either your fingers wrist elbow or dislocate the shoulder hung kuen master is one who should be feared by every style

I've seen this exercise before: very interesting (karatekas to that on each other arms). Only, i would like to know if there is any risk of damaging the veins or other delicate structures. You know, sometimes you have a vein running above the bone, and it's hard to believe you can safely smash it on a tree.

I can only write in English sorry , but what is your dit da jow recepie? I have never seen people put their entire hand/arm into the jow in real life, a large jar like that lasts for a couple of years and after training you are so sweaty , maybe bits of broken callouses , it would all build up in the jar and become disgusting wouldn't it? In real life i have only ever seen people put some from the main jar full of ingredients in a smaller bottle and rub it directly on the body
