is it possible to make good manga with ink pens? like the staedlter you have

Does developing such macro detailed focus require specific mental disciplines or headspace even after you practice a million hours around technique and develop muscle memory or are some people just already in that headspace or all of that or what. I find my muscle memory for certain things can be so fast that it will happen before other parts of my brain know it, but that this requires very active attention.

Please help me: He does the first sketch on vegetable paper, then he sketches the second in normal paper, and then he inks it on top of the second sketch?
