I adore and respect the Japanese greatly..🙏🏼 I strive to be Japanese with work ethic and focus… But that slurping! I know it’s traditional but that fine line between culture and bad table manners…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ When I visited my first noodle shop in Japan, I thought they forgot a soup spoon until I saw that nobody had a soup spoon… Still weird for me..
So devoted to their work and their customers - the time that it takes to prepare the food even before cooking is amazing and their dedication and good cheer is wonderful. Gordon Ramsey could learn a few lessons from the Japanese on how to manage a small kitchen with multiple staff doing different tasks but with such respect for each other and their role! LOL I love watching Asian chefs at work - its like artwork with such talent and devotion! I also love seeing the different age groups in the kitchen. These younger folks are so lucky to get to work with such experienced chef and kitchen staff. It takes everyone to do it well and they do it wonderfully!
Time honored skills, great attention to detail and elders....love the elders! They know what they are doing and they are the experts in wonderful foods.
I noticed the overall quiet during orde processing! No yelling....just organized performance! I hope these people make a great paycheck! Their work ethic is amazing and the food looks spectacular!
RESPECT! as a chef/restauranteur/hotelier of 35+ years who has worked internationally, and has had 300 staff under me in my department, i have not seen a tighter crew than tese folks. i would stand next to these chefs any day of the week. everyone is meticulous in the performance of their responsibilities, everyone. knows their job, everyone works in perfect unison, and they all seem happy. the product looks exemplary and the customers love it. the shrimp look fantastic, but those noodles, they look like heaven. i'll say it again, RESPECT! ☮❤🙏
