@@shiqiai2881 Thanks. But this is what I don't understand how to use Dizi flute in transposing: the song sang by Dao Lang was on key Gm (Bb), to my understand. Here you are transposing it to F#m (A) isn't it? So how a flute with E key can play A/F#m? Is it not a E-Key flute should play E/C#m songs? I see different keys for a flute, but it is not clear its correspondance with european tones (Circle of Fifths). The question is: should a dizi flute with a key X play the same key X in circles of fifths? And for a dizi flute which does not have a corresponding key, we need to transpose, no other solution? Thanks
@@lasu7712 This song is in E key without transposing, which is not the same key as Dao Lang's, you can tell the difference if you play them side by side. For dizi that does not have a corrisponding key, transpose the music to the key is the most easy solution especially for beginners. There is also a trick to half press the hole, which can play half note that did not exist, this allows the same dizi to play different keys. for example, by half pressing your right index finger, you can play 6# (A# note in C key flute), with that, a C key flute can play F key (F,G,A,*A#*,C,D,E). there are other holes can be half pressed to play more keys, but require extra practices.
