I could not believe your choir could sing what is a difficult song with all the dynamics required and precise tonal rendition, Beautiful. The lady conductor did a fantastic job of motivating the singers to sing from the heart, FANTASTIC. The person doing the tambourines did not catch-up to the beat of the singers and was noticeably out of phase with the rest of the group. I love your version of the song very much. Thank you very much for a job well done.
Excellent Conductress... Exceptional Choir Group!! All of you performed through your heart & Soul. I love it. Very Sweet Blending of Voices & Artistic movement!!❤❤❤❤❤
I wonder how they learned the correct pronounciation of this Visayan folk song. So amazing how these milk skin and nice cute eyes people sung our very Rosas Pandan, with so much emotion as if they all know the Visayan line.
Sung in Visayan about the beautiful maiden Rosas Pandan. Translation: Here I am Rosas Pandan, coming from the mountains to be with all of you to celebrate this festivity. This "Balitaw" is my only offering, the only legacy from my forefathers. A song that is ancient, the pride of our mountains. Here is my "Balitaw" as I dance beautifully to it. It's as cool as the morning dew, hopping like crazy! Oh, the poor guy as he watches the young maiden he's drooling with excitement!
Hoy, Rosas Pandan is a Visayan folk song and made into a Visayan movie by Gloria Sevilla and Mat Ranillo, Sr. Please don't revise history by claiming it's originally a Tagalog song. Do your research first.
i'm PROUD to my NATIVE LANGUAGE..!!!! Intawun usab si Dodong nagtan-aw kang Inday nagtabisay ang laway. .. ang laway! ( Dodong is drooling while looking at Inday... DROOLINGGG..!! (or saliva) ) .. hahahaha.. makatawa ko.. hehehe
This song is very famous to the other countries as far as choir is concern but the pilipinos doesnt know who was the pilipino composer of this song hehehehehe
Bravo, you got the spirit of the song and the beautiful rendition of the folk song even if you are singing in a foreign language. Bravo also to the musical director for the effort and most of all the singers. I am a Filipino music teacher and it is really much work to teach song like this.
Just blown away! A Filipino folk song sung by a Chinese student choir, a cappella! Wonder what made them do that. And I like the very lively rendition of it. Kudos to the pretty conductor.
in a choir's perpective, rosas pandan is one of the most difficult but harmonious song. it has a solo soprano, alto, bass, etc. and if you listen to the end...it's grandeur...magnifico...
wonder why rosas pandan is so famous....what is in it... why they chose this particular song as one of their pieces....glad to watch foreigners singing pilipino songs..
