This is what you'll find in NYC Subway DAILY: 1. Trash. 2. BIG Rats. 3. People smoking OPENLY inside the train. 4. Homeless sleeping inside the train stinking up the ENTIRE cart. 5. Mentally ill running around. 6. Singers (even if I don't want to hear). 7. Perpetual lateness. 8. Criminals (lots of them) 9. Turnstile jumpers. (more than I could count). 10. Lots of vandalized information screens & graffiti (smashed window) but NOTHING compares to the "shovers" People that will SHOVE you down the tracks OR STAIRS when you least expected. But don't take my word for it. So far TWENTY FIVE people have been pushed down the train tracks (public available information). This keeps happening because NYC consider them "mentally ill" and after a short stint in the mental hospital, they get released. REPEAT.
I heard they said graffiti are Americans' symbol of art-loving and representation heart of freedom, so its everywhere on the wall of public space. Is it true?
No surprise here. Americans are mostly very foreign to public transportation other than those who are not able to afford a car. Not to mention public transportation systems there are massively underfunded and not properly planned out.
