May be I am that naive, but I just can't understand why Uncle Bob need to do this when he already have the black card. Can you explain to me? Mr. "You call someone else HKer" Or can Uncle Bob tell us?
George Chi Ioi Lo thanks for the info but as far as I know the ordinary platinum card owners cannot gain entry into this lounge, the metal plat card tier or black card owners are eligible. And annual fee should be somewhere 1000USD. and more than that there should be more to be come together with the annual fee, i don’t have the metal plat so every time I tried to find this lounge can only be with my fam... lol and it’s such a pain to locate too.
All amex plat cards are made out of metal, and I don't think there is such tier called the metal plat. There are different branding of the card (benz, morgan stanley, etc.) but I don't think there is a difference between them in terms of lounge access
Uncle Bob, do you know if one can still go to Plaza Premium with AE in HK since there is the Centurion Lounge now? Also, what are the upgraded drinks for HK with the card?
