Completely removing those super efficient techniques is not the solution! There would be so many other forms of regimentation to differentiate judo more from freestyle wrestling. Because of this ban, we recreational judokas just get to know a part of judo & people rather start training bjj because its not so limited...
well, in bjj you barely get to learn throws and takedowns anyways, judo has its place yet as a martial art despite that recent ban. If you can combine both judo and bjj that would be great, and that is actually what I do
