It was a pleasure to watch Noh Theatre for the first time in my life, and the explanation was a great help to get a glimpse of understanding. Even without understanding the words, the mastery of expressing emotions, in this case the terrible inner turmoil of Lady Rokujo, followed by relieve of her tortures of jealousy, by posture and gestures, without change of expression in the face, is amazing. This is pretty cool and definitely helpful for understanding but it is by no means the full play. Most notably, the miko assisting the priest is entirely absent, as well as large chunks of dialogue that illustrate the thoughts and feelings of the characters.
