● Taiwan Rail Administration - Filmed during 2011, an collection of TRA R20 class diesel-electric locomotives on freight service. They are all very old GM 567C/E engines (built in 1960s), love the sound when they're working hard.

Taiwan railways seen to be very interesting. Look like they have a very good and modern track, but still use old diesels for special services. It is amazing to see railway people still using hats. Thanks for all those videos and keep the G12 coming! I love those engines and miss they here (Brazil).

Lovely G12s, MTR in Hong Kong half of the G12s were sell out to other countries. Is good to see G12 running in Taiwan

I thought the G12 had only 4 axle traction motors but these have 6, were these engines rebuilt to have 6 instead of 4?

No, these Taiwanese G12s are the EMD-original A1A-A1A version locos, the axles in the middle are idler axles without power, so they've got six axles since the very beginning.
