芬蘭網紅的極簡之家 The Home of Minimalism from Finland 

我正在极简，因为带娃大多数时间都呆在家里。家务跟带娃让我感到非常疲惫，有限的空间似乎永远也安排不过来。我真心佩服这个女主人能够带着孩子一无所有重新建立起自己的生活，并且分享故事和自己的家带给许多人正面的影响。极简真的非常的治愈，让我更有意识性的选择购物,已经可以学着欣赏然后不拥有的状态，我还是很喜欢看家居网站但是我知道我想要自己的家里并不是别人家的样子。而是我自己生活的模样，极简之后我的家务真的变少好多，很多地方我坐着可以感觉到平时没有的舒适。那种找东西烦躁的心情越来越少有了。享受空间感！有一点蜜汁疑问，极简以后家里有回音怎么办?

比起极简主义，我更喜欢自然主义，就是用偏向大自然的清新色调去装饰。原木色，绿植，不规则的手工制品，色彩柔和的器皿... 不刻意追求东西越少越好，方便生活的器具一样不会少买，只要是用得到的。断舍离也只是和根本用不到放着积灰的“垃圾”说再见。要经常归类整理，看着有序不乱，心里也更开阔舒爽，也不失温暖平和。

The human psyche is so interesting. She lost everything to mold in her old house and it obviously made a huge impact on her life because she still cries when remembering it to this day. So, being reactionary as we are, she now has purposely reduced her possessions to almost nil, so that she doesn't have the pain of losing so much ever again. There's nothing wrong with this. It's normal to be reactionary. I also found it interesting that the few items she owns also become art. Her black dust pan and black watering can are displayed as art, since there is nothing else that constitutes art. Lovely woman. I think her pain has served her well. She truly is enjoying the world instead of objects now. Something we all could aspire to. I can imagine that she now, without so many objects to care for, (objects to insure, objects to keep from being stolen, objects to upkeep, objects to replace, objects to improve upon) focuses only on her family and her thoughts. I am SO in awe... On a side note, when I dream of winning the lottery and having a beautiful new home.... I am caught between wanting a warm, traditional craftsman-type home....and a minimalist home. A craftsman-type home would require tens of thousands in decor, rugs, furniture and niceties. There would be a constant desire for the most beautiful "things" to make my own. But a minimalist home would require I give away 99% of what I currently own. Lets not forget though, that a minimalist home looks best with very expensive minimalist fixtures. If you only filled it with cheap Walmart plastic, it would look empty instead of minimalist. Minimalist actually requires well appointed fixtures in stone, metal and glass. But you would have the money for that if you weren't spending it on "things". I do love that she puts twigs and cuttings of tree limbs all over the house. The greenery keeps the place from looking too cold.

She has a beautiful home. It may not what others prefer but for her it is a home, where she is mostly at peace. We are all different. Everyone has its own preferences.

Blessings to you and your family. My heart broke when she spoke of loosing her precious items and their tragedy. I am happy to know that they have created a life that is rich in things of the Spirit❤

I love the way she live her life, I love empty house, empty rooms that only has the essentials, it feel so good and relaxed. My nightmare would be a house full of clutters.

I am completely fascinated with minimalism. I keep thinking that I would like to challenge myself to make changes to do this. This home is a beautiful example to me.

My heart goes out to you. We lost almost everything we owned during Hurricane Sandy, including all our vehicles and my husband's shop. We lived in a shell of a house; no heat, electricity. The Christmas right after Sandy (2 months later) we still lived in a shell in many ways. We went to buy Christmas ornaments. Our ornaments, collected with love over the years, were lost at sea. I looked at an ornament and in a moment, a flood of tears took over. I could not control myself in the store. I was crying over everything in my life, my husband's life, my children's lives. The loss, the death, the trauma, the heartache. All by looking at an ornament? The ornaments, the pictures of my babies, my family, all gone. Time does not necessarily erase pain or trauma but it eases it and healing sets in. After a time of health issues, heartache, we started looking at everything differently. Certain things matter more. Others don't matter at all. Remember the sparrow. Psalm 84:3

很多时候不是不想要极简，主要是有些东西现在不需要但是过段时间取消，扔掉以后过段时间又要买回来，反而不环保不节约。如果放到储物间只不过是把杂乱扔到盒子里罢了，实际家里还是有这么多东西，等于勤收拾而已。所以极简需要和实用之间妥协的。

極簡能帶來平靜

Beautiful and serene home. I love the windows and the nature brought inside. It is sad she lost so many things, especially sentimental photos due to mold in her former home. This situation gave her a chance to a think about the kind of home she wanted to create for herself and her family. Imagine what a wonderful lesson her sons have in learning that we don't need to have a lot of stuff in life-just what we need and love.

很多人好像沒有完全理解她屋子發霉帶來的打擊。視頻裡面已經寫道在芬蘭屋子發霉的話這間屋子就要被拆除，她自己也說屋裡的所有東西也必須一併銷毀。這等同於一夜間流離失所的同時也不能帶走任何一個物件。你要從零開始啊，怎麼會不壓力？連基本日常用品和衣物都帶不走，不會壓力嗎？我會崩潰，還帶著孩子，她也提到那時候經濟能力又不足夠，不能一夜間就買到新房子或立刻能恢復正常生活，還要工作呢？大家的抨擊很莫名其妙。

你怕是没理解她说的意思，她省略了很多要说的背后故事，她只说了回想那段时光很艰难（其中包括没钱）。不要肤浅的以为一个相册就哭了。

完全理解这位索米星妈妈买到发霉房子的崩溃。芬兰的雨季和冬季都很长，室内的通风防潮要求很高。碰上发霉这种严重情况，2年内发现的话，在购买合同的法律条款里说明，可以要求卖家赔偿。在买老房子前可以请专业公司去做霉菌测试，然后跟卖家商量怎么分担这个费用。老房子购买需要很谨慎，一般40-50年需要更换全屋的管道，花销挺大，洗手间和桑拿房一般要求15-20年装修一次，因为防水层已经不足够保护了。

Im from Tokyo, Japan and I think in some way, Japanese aesthetic is somewhat similar to Scandinavians.

Why some of the people are so judgmental? It's their home and let her & her family decide what Home means to them ! Why would she need to be judged by your defined "warm feeling that the family should have and blablabla" ?

真的蠻好玩的，以前家裡沒有東西，我們有個成語是“家徒四壁”，就是說家中空空，沒有家具或是細軟的貧窮狀態。 結果，現在家中空空的，沒有家具及細軟的狀態反而被包裝成為一種時尚概念了，還取名字為“極簡風格”，真的是很有趣的說法呀！

I won't think this home is the best, but it is better than many home.

I have a simlar position, since we moved back home and had the whole house repainted inside we have only 3 things on the walls, 2 mirrors and one painting. The only difference is we have very dark walls and this also draws your eyes outside. Believe it or not it is calming to have alls the wallls dark and trim bright white to contrast it. We also lost many things because of mold like clothes furniture workpapers and health. It really has thid big impact in your life but you can realize how much it can relief you to be minimalistic. It doesn‘t just look cleaner it also keeps your mind clean you will feel a lot better. And i am not a extreme minimalist. I own a lot of things. I just started living more sustainable and remove decor or things that didn‘t bring me joy Like old clothes that i didn‘t wear for years or something.

I am so tired of everyday cleaning our house and decluttering as always.. I am the youngest among my 4 siblings.. I am always dreaming to have this kind of environment and that minimalism thing.. I need that..because I want peace and comfortable life with not being a materialistic person.

I like this type of design. I like this type of living, minimalism. Black and white best color match. However, it is hard to me to keep it clean. 😅
