People's Republic of China
Americans set an example for (1971, UN Resolution 2758, One China, Taiwan is a part of China! 1997, Hong Kong returned to China) Taiwanese and Hong Kong residents self-determination. Americans are concerned that the principle of indigenous self-determination will undermine the territorial sovereignty of the United States. In order to deprive Indians (Native Americans) and Mexicans (Native Americans of Southwest America) of their right to self-determination, in 1920, the Treaty of Versailles, the President of the United States (Wilson) sent a special envoy to propose fourteen amendments at the table, in AttachmentIt is emphasized that self-determination of inhabitants is invalid without the consent of the sovereign state. In 1971, UN Resolution 2758 was passed by a two-thirds majority. On January 1, 1979, the U.S. government established diplomatic relations with the government of the People's Republic of China. The U.S. government terminated the U.S.-Taiwan Mutual Defense Treaty, the U.S. government withdrew all U.S. troops from Taiwan, and closed the U.S. embassy in Taiwan. That is, the U.S. government has since officially recognized Taiwan as part of China. However, the current U.S. government is currently trying to beat itself up.
