Reliving my childhood through this masterpiece performance. Growing up in the US, I didn't have many asian heroes to look up to, so when my parents brought VHS of wushu movies that were translated into my language, it was profoundly addicting. Condor Heroes was my first love of wushu, it gave me a sense of pride to be asian. For once, I didn't feel like a background character in life, it taught me that asians weren't inferior and that we could be brave, bold and heroic.
This brings back so many memories. I miss my late father hearing these old songs. I dare not watch any of the old series anymore afraid of missing my late father. He plays all the old Chinese movies all day and growing up, this is all I hear.
well.. u need to.. infact u need to.keep watching.. a death is certain thing.. when u can embrace it and find the peace memory and happiness that u have that time qith your father.. you can live your life to the fullest.. from someone who miss their father too.. 3 years already my father pass away
Unforgettable series from TVB Hong Kong The Legend of Condor Heroes 1983..the actors, the theme songs, and the martial arts, despite of only on TV budgets
I love how the classic instruments are integrated with more modern instruments, beautiful and pleasant sound. Brilliant work from the composer and the musicians.
This gave me goosebumps.. I watched the wuxia remake series from Mainland China but none of the music was as beautifully composed as the Hongkong era... Back then you could feel the classic era, the wuxia annd chivalrous spirit just listen to the theme song. Nowadays it doesn't get the ancient feel and sounds too modern. Thank you for uploading ❤
