Are you Japanese? In Japanese, object is put ahead of the verb, such as, "Education is given an important attention." In both Chinese and English, object is put after the verb, such as, "They take education importantly." Min-Ning is a unique town. Unique in Chinese, we call it Te-Se (pin-in), instead of Ge-Se. Min-Nin is part of mainland of China. I don't understand why you compare it with the mainland in your last sentence.
