簡介
三位從越南走難來港的青年(曾泉盛、李國松、遊慶豐飾演)，對生活有不同的選擇。有人賣身搵快錢，希望獲得美國居留權後，在異地重頭開始新生活；有人面對現實，在畫廊畫「搵食畫」，只求解決三餐一宿；有人依然夢想，希望到法國學畫畫。
可惜難民身不由己，一生只能漂泊於命運的波濤裏，唯一肯定的是他們都背負著一段殘酷過去。

許鞍華執導的《來客》，一九七八年製作，《獅子山下》劇集，張敏儀監製。故事以越南船民為主題，以前看過，再次重溫，心情還是難以平復，對照當下風雨飄搖的日子，更覺沉重，人如螻蟻，耗盡全家積蓄，千辛萬苦，逃離虎口，涉水登岸之後，又再顛沛流離，不生不死，不死不活，活在沒有前景的去路，甚或轉死溝壑，終此一生，何其傷悲。

生於越戰的阿文，自小喪失雙親及姐姐，十多歲的他乘船由越南偷渡來香港，投靠唯一的親戚表哥阿賢。阿賢教他廣東話，幫助他融入香港社會，同鄉阿聰更介紹他到畫室做學徒，新生活漸上軌道……怎知道一次幫人家送畫到酒店，卻發現原來阿賢是個男妓，令他大受打擊，決心離家出走。但他千萬也想不到，再見阿賢時，一切經已變成另一局面…
