豊川稲荷（妙厳寺）令和5年初詣
商売繁盛のご利益で全国的に知られる
約570年前の室町時代に創建された曹洞宗の寺院で、信長、秀吉、家康、大岡越前守忠相、渡辺崋山などの武人や文人達の信仰を集めた。商売繁盛・家内安全・福徳開運にご利益があり、江戸時代になると庶民の間で信仰が広まっていった。お稲荷さんを祀った本殿は、間口18m、奥行き38m、高さ30m。総欅造りで、昭和5（1930）年に完成するまで37年の歳月を費やした。全国の信者数は数百万といわれ、特に元旦は大勢の人々でにぎわう。三が日の初詣客は約110万人

A temple of the Soto sect founded about 570 years ago in the Muromachi period, it attracted the faith of warriors and writers such as Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Ooka Echizen no kami Tadasuke, and Watanabe Kazan. It is said to bring prosperity in business, family safety, and good fortune, and in the Edo period, the faith spread among the common people. The main shrine, which enshrines Inari, has a width of 18m, a depth of 38m, and a height of 30m. Made entirely of zelkova, it took 37 years to complete in 1930.
