As for the "Encouragement Fund", it is just a way to show our appreciation of your hardwork. You had put up a good fight giving us a chance to hear "Majulah Singapura" on the podium, flying Spore flag high. Don't feel pressured or overthink it ... Stay focused, stay safe!!!
Both of you are so genuine and it shows. I much prefer your authenticity than Antonsen's channel which feels manufactured and produced. Don't ever change, you are a very rare voice and a bright ray of sunshine in the world of badminton. I can't believe you're only 21.
@@patrickleong8374 Including authenticity. There is a reason why his channel is more popular. His content is good and he is making badminton more famous. These guys are Asians and of course their conversations are more down to earth but in the end it's about who popularizes badminton more
@@viveknamikaze761 , who cares if he is more popular? I was stating my opinion on why I prefer her channel. He is world#3, he would naturally have a larger following.
Hi JinWei, thanks for this, great content! Just a suggestion, maybe also include English in your video title (like how you're also doing subtitles in your videos), it can link you to a greater audience and get more views as well. Its really great content (i watch all your videos) and more people should see this. Keep it up and I hope BAM will start being a little bit less stupid, prideful & childish and allow you to compete internationally again. Love from SG. :)
Kean Yew, you definitely deserve the "World Champion". Believe in yourself. The honour of the crown definitely give player some form of stress & pressure. But you'll overcome it overtime.
LKY, the funds are a form of encouragement for doing well. It's like your papa or mama giving you a useful present for making good progress. It's not a donation. Anyway, the funds can be used for sports development if you really don't want to use it for personal use. Best wishes for your endeavours!
Please, he went to Sg at 13. Her Mum decided for him for studies. Not to develop Badminton. He doesn’t want to go at all. Wat does a 13 year old boy know at 13 about his future. Don’t talk nonsense here.
Both players in this video received offer from Singapore Sports School to compete for Singapore, LKY took the offer whereas GJW rejected it to stay with Malaysia, and look at the stark difference in their situations today...
Exactly my sentiments as well. If only GJW took the offer and come to SG; she would probably be in the top world rankings and possibly hunting for a WC crown now.
Not only LKY has developed his Badminton skill, I believe Singapore education and culture has helped to mould his character and his personality. We can see him playing with grit and determination even when he was trailing (like 3-9 in first set of final match).
Malaysia lost in every single aspect with singapore despite singapore is just a very small country. In terms of economy, labour, politic, sport, currency. Im very ashamed. But not the government. The government objective is just load their pocket, so that when something bad happen to malaysia they can run to overseas.
Come on, GJW do not need Singapore support. She was twice Junior World Champion, Youth Olympic Gold and SEA Game gold medalist. She is more successful than LKY (prior to his World Championship). It is her health condition that forbid her to further journey in badminton, that is why she quit BAM last year. And she wants to do it in her own pace, and do not want to waste resources, but in return, she got "ban" from BAM.
This is totally ridiculous, badminton association Malaysia is a joke in the badminton arena, most of the players end up leaving national team because of their diplomatic management, they don't know how to respect players, they just treat them as a winning machine
LKY went to Dubai to train with Viktor, isn’t allow Viktor to study his opponent’s weakness and strength and give him a chance to become more stronger than before?
