Description: Originally procured by KCRC from Metro Cammel England for the Electrified Kowloon-Canton Railway. They was put in service on 6/5/1982 running between Hung Hom and Sha Tin station. The Mid-life refurbishment project was carried out by GEC Alsthom between 1996 to 1999 to increase the train capacity.
