Wiki. - "It is as a side-scrolling shooter unlike its predecessor Super Spacefortress Macross, and geared more towards competitive play. The player characters are still fixed per side: Player 1 is Silvie, Player 2 is Nexx.
There are 10 levels total, split between the difficulty levels "Beginner" "Medium" and "Expert" respectively, with only the final level being shared by all.
The overall game is built on a "score attack" system, requiring the player to meet the minimum quota indicated at the top-center part of the screen before time runs out. Failure to do so will result in a game over. Enemies will continue to appear even if the target score has already been achieved, moving to the next level only after the timer expires. This is also true for stages with boss fights.".
