越南峴港的一個五口之家，請建築師武重義設計了一座新宅。屋子處處是流動的自然風、綠植和日光，屋頂花園可種植各類蔬果。建築的自循環系統讓他們幾乎不用水電，實現自給自足。在這樣的房子裡，家人不會各玩各的手機，而是一起親近自然，燒烤、游泳......
A family of five living in Da Nang, Vietnam had their house designed by architect Vo Trong Nghia. The house is abundant with natural air, plants and sunlight, and on the roof garden all kinds of fruits and vegetables are planted. The self-circulating system makes water and power supply unnecessary. In such a house, the family members do not stare at their own screens all day, but stay close to nature, and swim and barbecue together.

The man said that they tried to build the house cheaply for $200 000-300 000, but I suppose that must be a massive sum of money for the common vietnamese family. In my country this type of house could never be built for that price so it was surprisingly inexpensive in my eyes. I suppose the land price might be cheap by international standards too.

It could be done as a one story and I believe it would cost less. But I agree inexpensive by western standards but a well to do home in Vietnam. Beautiful home though and a beautiful country with great people.

This video title is misleading, close-loop system requires electricity and water. Because in Vietnam, the weather doesn’t raining monthly, and water will evaporate everyday, water have to refill if pond have reached critical low level, electricity must used inside the close-loop system to ensure water flows and filtering the waste from fish. Electricity also needed by cleaning and filtering the microorganisms and dust inside water. This is ecosystem house, with plants and water, but self-circling systems still a long way to go.

yeah i think the only savings are from some rain waters and fish poops as fertilizers. you still need electricity to run the system.

Guys, it's not cheap. Base on the labor price in Vietnam (ex: brick layer), it's only 25usd for 1 man per day. Also the material and other cost also cheaper, this price for building the house is not cheap at all. In Cabramatta, Australia the cost to build 2 storey house (600sqm) is only 500kaud (340k usd). So again, this price is not cheap. Another thing, price land in that city (Danang) is very expensive now. In some area, for 250sqm like that, can easily cost more than 1 million usd for land only, some area might be more. I don't know about other country, but compare to Australia, Vietnam land is a lot more expensive 😂😂

This is a nice house indeed. I have some questions want to ask. First one is how do they design the electricity system? Because I didn't see any solar penal installed in this house and apparently the circulation system they use require extra power to pump thing up, forward and backward. Second one is in this video they did not mention where the water in the swimming pool from and what is the source of the potable water? As the information I got from video, basically focus on the circulation system and nothing mentioned about the potable water. These two questions make we wonder is the title exaggerated?

This house is impractical. Only millionaire and up can afford it. Only 5 (if I am not mistaken) people living in this mention. To accommodate this live style. The country will go bankrupt first, Before few per cent can afford to live in this style. This is a very good example of Between Dreem and reality

My house has a water feature in it underneath the skylight. No mosquitoes because the water feature/pond has fish in it.

@@rafarga1980 The water on your pond must be flowing. Some of their ponds have no current at all. It's the current that makes a difference. Mosquitos cannot breed on moving waters.
