愛知県豊田市の足助町の町並みを散策いたしました。香嵐渓や足助城など見どころたっぷりの地域でした。
Asuke-cho is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. It has long been popular as a post town on Shio no Michi. Shio no Michi means the salt road used to carry salt and seafood inland.

毎回どうやって決めているんだろうって思うぐらい、スポット選びが素晴らしいです。見たことも聞いたこともないところでした。昭和の街並みのようなところ、美山のかやぶきの里のようなところ、お城のようなところ、ここは行ってみたいですね。14分の動画があっという間に感じました。最後のかわいいお花でポンと終わったところがいいですね。

白壁と杉板の建物が何ともレトロですね。つくづく思いますが、これだけの街並みが残っているのは凄い事ですね！地方の古い建物は人が住まなくなり朽ち果てるに任せている物が少なくありません。萱葺きの住居も重厚で素敵。足助城も今だ武将の息づかいが伝わってきそうです。私はオープニングの映像で「うわっ！」と声を上げました。私の子供の頃はあんなだったように思います。素晴らしい旅になりましたね。ちなみに私は昨日コロナの3回目接種でした。下火とは言えまだまだ注意が必要ですね。Annaさんも元気にお過ごし下さい。

祖母の家が豊根村で、足助は通り道でした。足助といえば秋の香嵐渓のイメージでした。早春ですかね、片栗の花や梅花…あぁ、あの畦道にはふきのとうもあるかなぁと思いを巡らすことができました。 よければ、茶臼岳の周囲の村も覗いて下さい。電灯のない夜の頼りない月の光に照らされた大きな木々の脇道や、秋には陽当たりの良い木になるアケビの紫やツルウメモドキのオレンジや赤色のたわわな実も素朴な景色の中にあり素敵です。

If it weren't for the cars, you would think this post town was in the mid to late Showa era. I am always amazed how you make these videos with none to almost no people. As always, the music makes it feel so peaceful and tranquil.

If I found myself sitting by the river here I would quite happily sit and let my life ebb away. Can't think of a place which seems so calm; so quiet; so protective. And it has nothing to do with the weather. It could deep inside a rainstorm or pressed against the ground - just a little - in order to reduce the influence of snow. No matter what the season; and np matter what the weather ; I could ebb away from my body.

集落にも河にもゴミ一つ落ちておらず、古い木橋が保全され、お稲荷さんは美しく大切に祀られ この地域の人達がどれほど山や河や土地を愛しているか、この動画だけで伝わります。 私の実家付近にも昔は茅葺きの家がありました。維持に大変なお金が掛かるので無くなってしまいました。 思い出して切なくなりました。

I've watched a handful of your recent videos now, and each time I was captivated and felt very nostalgic. ('Nostalgic'? I didn't even grow up in Japan! Haha.) Not sure what you are doing with the overall 'tone' of your videos, but it's got this 'It's 6pm.' feel, or '90s Japanese TV vibe' to it, which I find very comforting, and soothing. Also love the fact that there are almost no people in your videos. Looks like I've got some more binge-watching to do. Thanks, and please keep up the good work!

Absolutely wonderful. In these days of madness your videos always seem to be uniquely calming and tranquil. It looked like quite a hike to get to the shrines at the top. Nice shot overlooking the little valley.

What an amazing video, the blend of old and new. I also spotted some Sakura in there...that's my favorite time of the year. I just saw the Sakura on the Quad at the University of Washington and it made me miss Japan even more. I loved the views of Korankei Gorge. Thank you for sharing your talents with us Anna.

Another lovely town. I adore your videos with your carefully thought out music choices. There are so many nooks and crannies, alleyways and interesting buildings to explore. You really have a thing for bridges! Then there is the beautiful hill-top Sengoku fort. You and your lens do it justice. That beautiful pink flower at the end is the icing on the cake. Thank you Anna for such an interesting video. This town has so much character with it's older style buildings . The river and hilly areas would look wonderful when all green in summer and then again in Autumn I imagine. Beautifully filmed by you as always.

I simply love & admire his reflections & & insights on Nature.The Spring Sea-- son is always beautiful in Japan with the lovely blooms all around. I’m really sad Japan is still closed for tourists otherwise I would have organised a trip this period to see the beautiful cherry blossoms!
