i bear no ill will for what was happened during war, past is past...although lots of Filipinos told us about the atrocities of Japanese and korean foot soldiers. But i remember what was my Grandma's sister told us when she was just 4 yrs old, she was slapped by the korean soldiers and the japanese officer saw it and got mad and punished him. They say the cruel and barbaric one were the korean foot soldiers, not the japanese. Korean foot soldiers were the one who bayoneted babies. Because my grandpa said, the officers were mostly japanese and very respectful to the locals unlike koreans.
