Located in the central urban area of Lushunkou District, Baiyu Mountain stands 165 meters above sea level. Originally named "Xiguan Mountain," it was renamed Baiyu Mountain during the Qing Dynasty in 1880 by Prince Chun, the father of Emperor Guangxu, who remarked that where there is gold (referring to Dalian's economic potential), there should also be jade (symbolizing purity and beauty).
From the summit of Baiyu Mountain, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Lushunkou Port and the cityscape below. It offers the perfect vantage point to admire the entirety of Lushun and its famous military harbor.
