I’m literally speechless right now. The whole episode was mind blowing and the OST. Phenomenal. AOT is just one of a kind anime

no one understands the impact of this scoring like i do omg😫 3:36 onwards is that grandiose orchestral swell, which PERFECTLY encapsulates that feeling of impending doom and hopelessness, but also the AMAZEMENT of what’s happening. the mix of emotions in this is perfect. the way that 4:10 purposefully sounds like a ticking stopwatch, perfectly represents the feeling of a sort of “final countdown”, how in just SECONDS the world is ending and changing, along with the chorus in the background really giving this piece that intense sense of urgency. this couldn’t be a more perfect score for The Rumbling. you get so many emotions throughout this one score; fear, anxiety, hopelessness, and marvel and amazement. that feeling of seeing eren’s founding titan, that “holy shit…” of both amazement and fear. phenomenal. AoT is just amazing in every single way.

God, this show is so brilliantly written. The first time the walls fell, Eren was terrified. Now it is reversed. Edit: beware of spoilers in reply’s.

it's like hearing something out of a Souls game; it's dark, gritty, foreboding, and imparts a perfect feeling of hopelessness. that, plus the chorus of oooOOOOOOOOOOOOooo's and indistinguishable chanting really sell the "this is how fucked the world is" kind of feel. i fuckin dig it.

If there's ever a real world apocalypse, let's make this the soundtrack.

This OST really emphasizes what the Rumbling truly is: an apocalypse no other character in AoT could have ever had the will to conduct besides Eren himself

This ost makes you feel like you're staring imminent death in the face. They really outdid themselves here.

進撃の巨人がどんどん複雑になる中曲もむずかしくなって来ているのに全部合ってるのが凄い。

I find it very interesting that many parts of the song, especially after 3:34, use some major chord progressions despite the song being written in a minor key. It shows Eren's will to keep moving forward even through the atrocities he has committed. The fact that this song captures that aspect of the show makes this song a true masterpiece. Chills.

I swear, the music in AoT never sounded like anime music. Their OSTs sound like something off of a movie or dark fantasy video game, like Bloodborne or Dark Souls. Everything about this score is beautifully terrifying.

This scene is one of the greatest in tv history. Music, cinematography, animation, color, writing-- it scores about perfectly in every single category that a scene can be measured by.

Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano, the best 2 producers in the anime industry to make these amazing songs. Both 86 and SnK are just amazing with these OST playing in the background.

1:54からと4:10からが特に好き。 まさに終焉、世紀末、絶望という言葉が相応しい。1:54から入る声はどこか不協和で不安を駆りたてる。80話二千年前の君から、最高でした。物語は佳境を迎えますがラストまで目が離せません。こんな素晴らしい物語に素晴らしい音楽とアニメーションをつけてくださりありがとうございます。間違いなくアニメ史に残ります。

This is one of the most epic OST that I ever heard, really... Kohta Yamamoto and Sawano are genius!! 10 years watching AoT for this incredible final is outstanding!!

The more I listen to Kohta Yamamoto, the more I see that he's using much more synth and effect to create such ambience and literally put a bang instead of using melodious flowing notes. While Hiroyuki Sawano uses more melodious strings and brings the mood completely. To put it simply, Kohta Yamamoto is Fire (for the effects and explosive brass and choir) and Hiroyuki Sawano is Water (for the soothing, flowing melody, strings, and lyrical). Both of them have their own significant style and both of them are one of the most epic composers in anime ost. Incomparable, they're great as they are. Attack on Titan surely is being handled by these mad composers x"D

This is by far, one of, if not, the most powerful OST in anime history, not for just how great the music is, but for how powerful it's execution was. No OST has been more precisely placed imo in media history
