Why is the family filming this?😳 parents may have been too lenient in the past with him. No hate just saying. If they don’t treat his teeth he will have more pain in the future
a papoose board would have helped in this situation. what a papoose board is used for is to restrain the child so they are immobilized during difficult procedures so they can't kick or grab anything.
Why would you let him act like that at the dentist I know it is not fun but he doesn't need to act like that hold him down so he doesn't kick or move like that that Is not ok to be acts like he has never been to the dentist before and I wouldn't accept that
Did he have a scary or painful experience before this? Something happened. Even a tongue or lip tie with therapy can cause fear in a small child🤷🏻♀️ I understand he was scared and didn’t like the taste of the stuff they put on his teeth but, what are they going to do when he’s just a little bit older? She could barely handle him now🙆🏻♀️ We as parents have to learn the difference between a child acting out in complete fear and a mock tantrum - they will act out until they get what they want no matter where it is or what it’s over. If you give into a mock tantrum even once they will continue that behavior at all cost! And it’s very difficult to break ! I’m sorry he had worked himself up like that. I hope all future visits aren’t as hard on him, his parents, and the Dr’s…..Good luck 🍀
Next time he goes to the dentist hold him down and don't let him move until he is done getting his teeth cleaned and if i was with his mom I would help hold him down by holding his hands and feet down so he doesn't hit and kick the dentist and i would get his mom to help me hols his head down so he doesn't move his head and so he doesn't squarm around and I wouldn't let him get a drink of water
