I think it's just that when the characters are joking all the time, the one moment where they get serious and fight feels like it has much more gravity
@@leiftheleafoflifewillnever1327 why are you saying it in a way that makes you sounds so sarcastic?....and if you are sarcastic, let me tell you something. What the people are doing is recommending Gintama because they think that they will like it...there's nothing bad about that.
I remember the first time i saw Gintoki going into a rage like that after seeing Otose got hurt. It was very scary to the fact that he sends shivers down my spine. He was your stupid clown yesterday, and today he's a beast. I like how human Gintoki is. Plus every Gintama arc is excellent. Salute to sorachi hideaki!!
The action in this arc was such a feast in the eyes. I remember screaming hard when I first watched this arc, can't believe gintama anime has finally ended after all the countless ending trolls made by the cast lool
the reason I love this arc is because it delve into gintoki mind for the first time all that hilarious of that about the man is just for to hide how broken he inside
From what I can tell Gintama is basically the deadpool of anime. It can be both serious with kickass fight scenes, but still have pop culture references out the ass
One of my favorite arcs in Gintama, I remember watching young Jirochou and his best friend, and thought "They're Gintoki and Hijikata... face and relationship". From that point on, I've always noticed Gin and Hijikata's friendship
Yea i also noticed it, altho I think Tatsugoro is potrayed as more carefree and Jirocho more stoic so their peronality is kinda reveresed, maybe i am reading too much into this but sill pretty interesting stuff
Just finished at this Arc a few days ago.... Definitely my current favorite Arc of this anime. (I can't stop replaying that Gintoki vs. Jirochou scene. 🤩)
Everyone say Naruto has a lot of character and has story for each character. No one mentions even the old Madao who is not even a side character in Gintama has a story.
0:50 if his wooden sword broke how did he repaired it? ik the wood was made from a wood thats like more durable than steel right? but how he got it back after that arc finished
what i find amazing about gintama is, i've watched almost all the long running animes; one piece, naruto, bleach, detective conan, fairy tail, hxh, etc and i've loved them all in different ways,. but in the long run, i started getting bored, lost interest or hated them due to many reasons,. sometimes i'll stop watching on a certain episode and i'll just come back after a certain amount of time (the case with detective conan and one piece) or stop all together and decided to binged watch after it ended for the sake of closure and ended up dissapointed anyway (naruto and bleach) or come back time and again if i feel like it, (fairy tail) but gintama is different,. i've watched gintama since its first year, but when it comes to this series, there was never a question that i'll love it all same and more,. i love that this series just keeps getting better and better each time we meet again,.
Im much the same, only problem is that due to work and other commitments I dont have much time to watch as Ive fallen behind, Dam I need to get back to watching...
What made this arc even more amazing is that all of those side characters had their time with their own episodes, making this arc more meaningfull because you already connected with all of these characters.
