Dec 31 2015. On his first solo concert, Ayanga sang “Hometown of Life” from 2009 Chinese musical “Hero”. The song lyrics was by the musical’s director Zhang Xu and music composed by Mongolia renown musician Sarula Saihan. Mr. Zhang wrote that once in a dinner meeting, Mr. Saihan introduced young Ayanga to him and said that this is a very talented young man. When they were toasting, Ayanga said that I cannot drink with you, but I can sing a song. Ayanga sang a song about mother, and people on site all cried. Mr. Zhang invited Ayanga to apply for his Beijing Dance Academy Musical major. He was department chair then. Ayanga went to the exam and got 1st. When he was college freshman, “Hero” musical was performed and all students from his department joined, including him. Ayanga considers Mr. Zhang and Mr. Saihan to be two of the most important persons in his life. In 2012, Ayanga released a single of this song. In Ayanga’s first solo album in 2016, “hometown of Life” is the 8th of 9 songs.
@@AiliTWang He applied for the 3 best colleges for musical major and got accepted by all of them. He chose to go to Bejing Dance Academy because he was a professional dancer. Chinese musical was a new industry then and there was no market yet. There were very few audience who would pay to see a musical. So production companies often went bankrupt. He thought that if he could not find a job as a musical actor, he could still be a dance teacher.

@@mishk8641 I don't know about the musical Hero. But this song lyric is about Mongolia as home town. Is the Hero story about Mongolia? Is this song written for Ayanga to sing? He seems to like it very much.
Meethin Liong It is one of the songs in 2009 Chinese Musical “Hero” by Beijing Dance Academy. If you are interested in the musical here is a link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ELx1Wv96gb8.html In a comment before this , I posted a link of English subtitles version if you need translation . The song was composed by Ayanga’s Mongolian friend Mr. Saihan and lyrics by his college professor Zhang. Ayanga issued an ep (single) of this song in 2012, and included it his solo album in 2016. Ayanga is from Inner Mongolia and he sings songs in Mongolian language very well. Although this song is in mandarin, it is a song about his prairie.
