Wonderful video. That made me cry (and I don't often cry!). You really chose the good song for Wei WuXian's story. He always tried to keep his promise by protecting not only his siblings but also innocent people, he always did what he could to please the people he cared about and almost everybody turned their back on him because they didn't have the same conviction. However, as the song says, he was only human and was also hurt by all the things that happened, he just had to hide it to be the rock of others and I find that really sad. By the way, I absolutely love the fact that all the video is about Wei WuXian and that Lan Zhan appears at the critical moment, when Wei Ying let go of his suffering.

In the novel WeiYing passed out and when people were suprised LanZhan told them "we are all human after all"

No matter how many times I watch, I just can't never get over this drama. It is and will always be the best drama I've ever watched. I can watch it twice, thrice, or even thousand times.

To be honest Wei Ying's character will always be my favourite. He was written beautifully and most importantly xiao Zhan did justice to this character. From his smile to anger and the pain in his eyes, xiao Zhan portrayed every emotion so well.

I can't believe how anyone can hate Wei wuxian... He was such a precious baby. I don't understand how they blamed him for everything. They made him a scapegoat to push all their own troubles on. I wish I was there just so I could help him.

He really did live his life without regrets and a clear conscience, didn’t he? That’s why his soul found peace the minute the died. This video also shows had one person, only one, been strong enough to see his struggle through and been with him till the end he wouldn’t have died the way he did. Though wangji was always with him, the support before wasn’t as strong as when he came back after 16 years. The moment janli died, I knew it was over. I’m just so glad huaisang brought him back and made him see how he’s not alone, how he was never alone, how wangji would choose death than let him go again. So beautiful.

In the novel, when WY fainted on the boat, LZ did say to the young cultivators that he was also just a human :’(

Tbh I hate Chinese dramas because they are so over dramatic, extra and cringey. But The Untamed really deserves their recognition. I can't get over it. The directors did a really good job on this one. The actors were amazing. I can't get over it. I hope they make a season 2

All his life he forced himself to be perfect something better than human but it was eating him from the inside out and he finally lost the battle when his shije died and he gave up not wanting to hurt the rest of the people he cared for he killed the only thing that could hurt them the human Wei Ying.

No matter how much power Wei Wu Xian wields, he's still a broken man on the inside. People love to hate him because the world will always look for something to pour their anger into so they can justify their own ideals. When someone is DIFFERENT, they become an easy target. Wei Wu Xian is the one character that my heart TRULY and DEEPLY aches for.

I’m crying 😭 why do i do this to myself-

This song fits Wei Wuxian so much.. all along he made decisions to do the right thing when everyone else doesn't.. so everyone had turned their backs on him, had wronged him in many ways, and he was made into some'thing' to blame when there's anything bad even though he wasn't even associated with it one bit. But even through all that he still fights for justice (and what was right) and he always looks so strong and tough, when the truth is.. it hurts.. it hurts so much to be hated to be slandered, to be wronged, afterall he was just a human.. sometimes when im watching the series and saw how people mistreat him and etc.. i would just sit there in front of my laptop, crying or screaming because it frustrates me so much. He was in pain.. and what i really felt was his loneliness, he is truly a very strong character, i could never imagine myself surviving that dark hole of loneliness (even tho Lan Zhan was always with him) Anyway, applause for the writers and Xiao Zhan who brought WWX to life! Truly a masterpiece!

There’s a lot that I can learned from the character wei wuxian. Though he looks and seems happy, jolly, childish, playful, wear his heart on his sleeve, but actually I feel the opposite. He actually more reserved, keeps to himself, thinks clearly before just saying out loud, good at understanding people’s body language, good at listening, thoughtful, can see the whole big pictures, etc. The one argument that stood out to me, was when jiang Cheng try’s to bring wei wuxian back to lotus and leave the wen clan behind at burial mounds, wei wuxian told him that he’s not trying to be a god, a hero, or anything. What he is doing is something everyone should be able to do, but because everyone wants to be the big person, prideful, high mighty, he decides to take that reign in his own hand and those in needs. I don’t remembered the whole conversation, but I interpreted that conversation like what I just wrote. Another thing that hit me, is when he kept telling everyone since no one wants to help the innocents wen clan he will do it even if he is being framed as the villain-to interpret this is like he saying I just want to help them. I want to earn their trust. I want them to be able to heal from everything they have been through. I want them to know they have someone or somebody to go to, lean onto. I see myself like them. I WAS one, but not anymore because I have loved ones now.

Oh my god when the brother yelled at him "why did you save me?" and then it cut to the sister saying "you me and Jiang Chen, we three have to stay together forever" I burst into tears and my mom asked me if I was okay cause she was worried. I'm ugly crying right now and praying auto correct gets all these words right. I'm only 30 seconds in and I've already had my emotions messed with. Amazing job!!! 😭😭😭

There’s something poisonous about the Jiang trio that triggers my emotions every single time I’m reminded of their tragedy... I’ve watched CQL 3 times now and every time I watch ep 46 or when shijie’s face appears I bawl like a baby😭 also cried for this video😭😭😭 there’s literally no damn way I can get over this story!!!

Spoiler Alert Rant!! It is so heartbreaking that to achieve his wish which he in fact did... he lost his life and his reputation. It may be wrong to but I blame Jiang Cheng greatly for his death. I understand he is not good with words and is hot tempered but since young feed by his mothers harsh words and personality he helped push Wei Ying to this idea that he has to protect them, to repay them- that he owed them. In the novel this is exactly what kept him going after he converted to vengeful cultivation. Feeling that he had lost nothing because without Jiang clan he would be nothing even though he up his basic existence for Jiang Chen who as time goes on not only proves himself a coward, but also a shameless ungrateful bastard . So he literally gave everything he could give and still Jiang his closest brother never once said a nice thing to him, never noticed something was wrong with him and for once he needed a shoulder to lean on. No wonder after their sister's death he chose to kill himself. He had nothing and no one left in his mind in the series version. He also thought Lan Zhan didn't care much for him. Maybe did not hate him but didn't love him either... so imagine that someone who isn't that close to you is the only one to stand besides you. After everything you gave and tried to be... ofc he would indeed think. " what have all i done been for?" It can be assumed that his soul chattered because of the evil cultivation but it was actually because he was heart broken beyond repair that his soul was destroyed because of extreme grief. I back this thought by the story of Xian Chen* the wandering cultivator who killed his best friend Song Lan. After knowing what he had done he was so heartbroken he killed himself and the intensity of everything shattered his soul to a place it couldn't come back. Also Wei Ying seeing the ending of his life felt it was very much like he was watching himself this also is why i say that the grieve is what shattered his soul and not his cultivation practice. In the novel he lives and is rescued and taken back to the burial mound and Jiang Cheng leads a siege on him. There was still over 50 Wen sect ppl there also Wen Yang (kiddo) it was there he died from backlash. However in this version i can image he is still very much heart broken and torn if not more because he has to protect these defenseless ppl against his own brother. Thank god his second life was like sweet honey in comparison.. especially in the novel.

This beautiful edit sums up Wei Weixun and his rock and a hard place story. He was such a sweetheart, and then the whole world turned it’s back on him because he did the right thing. The only ones who didn’t turn away from him was Lan Zahn (his soulmate), Yanli his sister and Wen Ning, a good friend. Edit: he did the right thing by not allowing the last of the Wen Clan to be killed. The old, the young and the weak, none of them were threats, but the rest of the clans just wanted them dead. Wei Weixun saved them and in the end they saved him. It was all so sad, and this song: “I’m only human” sums it up well.

The way all the cultivation sects celebrated their ''defeat'' over WWX, when in actuality they were helpless in front of his power and WWX chose to kill himself instead. How proud they must be, having drove a person who just wanted to do the right thing and be left alone, to death.

It’s been like a year and I kid you not I still feel bad for Wei Ying-he just wanted to eradicate evil, and help the poor....but everyone turned against him except for Lan Zhan, Shije Yanli, Wen Qing, and Wen Ning.. he’s only human.. he did so much for everyone, but they all hurt him. This is really the best,I already watched a lot of edits but this is the best for WY everything is perfect. I always go here, whenever I miss WY. CQL is really the best to heal our anxiety but also the best to have depression especially ep.15-33. Everytime I think to rewatch,a always think I will get hurt again but still it's worth it.
