Cantonese and English both are his mother languages, he was from a wealthy family and attended to the top school in HK, he studied abroad in the U.S for a short time back then as well.
Danny’s English is so magnificent that you don’t find too many in the HK entertainment business. He is so adorable and is a fantastic singer and songwriter that will go down in the HK musical history.
Very surprised to see this broadcast that popped up from nowhere. He left us way too early. I was a classmate of his elder sister in Los Angeles when she introduced Danny to me back in 1983. Didn't get to know him much other than giving him a ride once. Can tell he really loves LA and even bought a house in Hollywood. It's only now that I'm listening back to all the songs made popular by him.
Just caught sight of this clip of Danny. Really amazed at his impeccable spoken English as we in Hk would not have heard him speaking in his shows or musicals. He was so talented and most people in HK felt so sad that he left this world at such a tender age.
