The only Mandarin speaking person who said "please" asking me for directions in Hong Kong was from Taiwan. Virtually, I asked all th mainlanders if they know how to say "please" and "thank you". Did they eliminate these words from their vocabulary along with the reduction of strokes from Characters?
If a tourist in Hong Kong speaks english to you, they also not ask if you speak english, and you will also accommodate the tourist by speaking english, its common curtesy, why eason needs to be triggered? its just a enthousiastic fan, want to hear EAson speaks mandarin, should not be a problem. EAson did a Kanye I am afraid...
@@Laggie74 it was a concert, how can you request someone to speak mandarin. at a concert everybody shouts demands. its not supposed to be taken seriously. EAson was too sensitive about it.
@@sophonblock76 I disagree. It's just rude. You are a visitor in Macau, which has Cantonese as it's official language. If he was in China and he's speaking in Cantonese, then maybe you can make the argument.
