I'm obsessed with watching all these tsunami videos, as RU-vid clearly can tell by my history, but not once do I not shed a tear seeing the destruction this horrible tragedy caused you and your people, of Japan. It's just so horrible and devastating. Also, being from Iowa USA, I realize that if there is snow on the ground, it must have been cold and unbearable to see your city being washed away. Thoughts and prayers to you and anyone affected by this disaster.
@@stephaniecrews8011... Uuuuh... wtf are you talking about? What sea creature?😧 Have you taken your meds today? Has someone spiked your drink? This is the only explanation I can give to this cluster clunk of a sentence you just spoke o_o
How sad and heart touching that is. After so many years I still feel so sad to see all the devastation that happened on that day. My prayers and respect goes out to all them people.
I was so worried for that older guy who was standing at the bottom, and then the younger one who ran down at the last moment. I was like, oh no, don't go toward the water! So glad they both made it back ok. So many videos where people stop for a few seconds and get overtaken. It's so sad. :( that lady crying in the background is heartbreaking. I can't imagine the sorrow those survivijg must feel.
How horrible. And some areas didnt get 30 minutes hardly before it struck. Unbelievable how it just comes up out of the ocean. In the 2004 tsunami there was no warnings at all. How terrifying. RIP to all the victims and may God bless the survivors of these natural disasters.
My prayers & respect to the thousands of souls lost (both human & animal) due to this terrible tragedy. Dear people of Japan, my heart hurts for you to this very day! May God bless you all with healing, strength, & encouragement..😰💐🙏🌹
I try to put myself in someones shoes there. Nothing in the universe could prepare someone for this horror from the sea. Much respect and love to my friends in need in Japan.
To have a tsunami on top of being very cold is just a double whammy for these poor unfortunate folks. My heart just aches for them even today. God bless you all. Love from the USA💖
Imagine a tsunami like this arriving completely without warning in a heavily populated area with insubstantial buildings and no hills to retreat to because everywhere is flat and barely above sea level. That was northern Borneo in 2004 and consequently huge death toll.
The surrealistic boundary between madness and death....and the relative calm of a hillside lane filled with stunned observers. Probably a fairly common scene that tragic day, but still terribly striking as to just how close a person could cautiously walk up to the very edge of that incomprehensible, cold and uncaring beast. jtk
I was blown away by how suddenly and from nowhere they can strike. Looks like a regular wave until it doesn't stop and keeps coming and going. And what they don't show is it isnt just one wave and you aren't sure which wave will be the biggest. In Indonesia in 2004 the first wave was bad but it was 15 minutes afterwards that the second and much larger wave struck. So remember tsunamis come in multiple waves. The first wave won't be the last wave. There is a tale of the flood in a sumarian text that describes what they saw as the flood approached. They initially thought the waves were clouds until they got close enough to see them and realized it is over. They describe how that first wave wasn't the biggest and that wave after wave just wiped the face of the earth clean for a week. Can you imagine mistaking a wave for a cloud? God bless.
Thank you 🙏🏽 the whole thing.. nobody had seen anything like that before.. I feel so sorry when I hear it & there really wasn't anything anyone could do
Omg so heart breaking to see all the devastation and to see they have lost everything they owned my heart goes out to everyone rest in paradise for those that have lost there lives 🙏🙏🙏
So sad seeing these people homes, jobs, property, and lives being destroyed. They are tuff people and will rebuild and start over. God help them with their broken hearts.
May your God still be with you and your love ones. It's almost been a year but it seems like this happen yesterday my thoughts are with you as are my prayers.
The events of that horrific day can never be forgotten! Such was the magnitude of the events that what took place was almost beyond belief, one's brain couldn't quite accept that it was even possible for it to be happening. That a modern, highly technological country could experience such cataclysmic destruction is inconceivable, yet that's exactly what took place.
I honestly can imagine the hellish thoughts of destruction made to the peoples lives.. Seeing you are losing many friends and total life turn around.. Heart rending
Unfortunately Japan sits on 4 Tectonic Plates the Pacific, Eurasian, North American, and the Filipino Plate so it's very highly probable this will happen again, these type of disasters have been occuring there for years, I hope for the inhabitants of Japan that it want for a very, very long time.
Crazy how I'm in Texas all of a sudden I can see these videos from 10 years ago, r they trying to tell us something? Idk, but I do know this, "Jesus is coming very soon ". Straight up love from Texas, praying, did u know praying now for something that happened in the past, still can work miracle.
