WWII told through the view of the Japanese pilots, I'd like to see this. And why are there so many comments being thumbed down? Just because they rooted for the Japanese pilots? Damn you people....
The B-52's first flight was in 1952, the B-29 that dropped the atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And I don't know about the pilot of Bockscar, but the pilot of the Enola Gay, Paul Tibbets, during a 1975 interview said: "I'm proud that I was able to start with nothing, plan it (the bombing of Hiroshima), and have it work as perfectly as it did... I sleep clearly every night." In March 2005, he stated, "If you give me the same circumstances, I'd do it again." Sometimes they don't regret it...
Yes thumb me down for saying I want to watch this. Is it wrong to want to watch this just because it made the WWII Japanese pilots look good? I'm Chinese, my people were massacred by the Japanese in WWII in Nanjing and yet, I'm not crying "hate, hate, hate."
I know it's weird replying to a two year old comment, but bear with me: I dont know, you are right I should not automaticly asume it's for children just because it's animated, I apologize.
is this clip talkin about kamikaze attacks ? cuz in movies they all missed up and I know in my guts that kamikaze pilots did a horrible job to the US navy
@xxxxCronoxxxx I learned my history through research and reading just like any other avid history buff. First of all, before you start giving me history lessons I already know, you should really use spell check before you post. Second of all, I know that the United States lost 4 major carriers in the early years of the war: the Lexington, Yorktown, Hornet, and the Wasp. What my original comment was that this anime shows Ohka suicide planes doing the major damage, which DID NOT happen.
