I haven't watched yet BUT I love this movie. I remember watching it when I was a teenager and enjoying it. I re-watched last Halloween and it still held up. It's crazy but also very entertaining. *haven't watched THIS video yet*
I've never seen this movie or heard of it but I will definitely check it out I blame May's parents for not teaching her anything about socializing or boundaries
18:01-18:06 Ooh I remember seeing + loving Black Swan in theatres (havent seen Carrie yet...) and I thoroughly enjoyed this ty! Can see someone writing about the tragic element of her story. Hate that I can't find it on Netflix >.< (EDIT: 3 minutes later.... I found it! ✨ The ending definitely was a mixed bag, it was absurd at one moment when the eye takes a tumble [like lollll] and then- I didn't expect it to be so upsettingly visceral @ the very last ten or so seconds. I'm FINE. This is FINE. Lol! jk TY it was really good. Food for thought about ytwomen, the spectacle of violence, autonomy, bonding over and libidinizing harm especially to racialized bodies like the jujube guy was brown to me, and lots of isms. Oof @ the R slur.)
Also side note the jujue be guy (James Duval) I believe is multiracial. His dad is mostly white with some native ancestry and his mom has mixed ancestry with French Vietnamese. He does have quite an ambiguous look to him. He's also been in Donnie Darko!
