after NCT debut I think SM did well trained their rapper trainees

i think YG reputation (best rappers) has changed now. honestly sm and yg now are the same level! i would also include JYP too. YG didn't improve the rap line at all.... g dragon is still their best rapper. while JYP and SM new rappers are their best so far. sm never had a rapper that had a natural flow they were all robotic except mark, and yes taeyong is somewhat robotic, as in you could tell he has been taught to rap and not go with his own flow type. i was never into any sm artists but this boy has charm and charisma that almost reminds me of G dragon. sm really hit the jackpot with him. also, i am quite disappointed with yg new group treasure i was really anticipating the new yg generation rappers, i would say i had high expectations since they are from yg.

@@littlemiss2022 well for k-pop fans, I don't know. but many underground rappers recognize YG idol rappers more than others and many idols choose YG rappers like GD, Mino, Bobby, or Tablo and BI (even though they have left) as their role models and YG is still chosen as a company that produces a good idol rapper. for their new group, I think they're doing well. maybe because they are still a rookie and their songs are more about performance than other YG boy groups. But if you see them on the survival show, they are good and have different rap characters. well, everyone has their own perspective for JYP and SM, I agree. Their new idol has excellent and reliable rappers. btw thanks for praising Mark and seeing his potential

@@touxdgzr people were blown away by TY's rap and called him the only true SM rapper, often joking that he belongs to YG, before SM revealed that they also have Mark now, and he was constantly praised even by professionals after that too, so I woudn't say that he is *objectively* mediocre. Seems like you just don't like his style, which is understandable, but personal preferences =/= skill
