무당의 굿 같기도 하고,이른아침 숲속에서 들리는 산새소리처럼 청아하기도 하고,에디뜨 삐아프의 고전 샹송처럼 애잔하기도 하고,오페라의 한 장면을 보는 듯 드라마틱하고 리릭하기도 하고,뉴올리언스 재즈처럼 짜릿한 스윙감이 느껴지기도 하고,마음을 어루만지는 어머니의 자장가같기도 하고...... 도무지 한마디로는 정의할 수 없는, 귀로만 들리는 음악이 아닌 영혼으로 소통하고 전달하는 음악을 하시는 느낌입니다.아리랑 들으면서 펑펑 울었네요... 정말 경이롭고 신비스러운 분입니다.

This concert has one of the most extraordinary female vocalists I have ever heard. Here accordionist is exceptional and the guitarist can play just about any kind of genre you can imagine. There is something here for about anyone over 30 yr old. I double dog dare you to listen all the way through and especially on “Ghost Riders in the Sky” which you should just close your eyes and watch with your ears. I do believe that what she does with her voice is probably illegal in some places.
Youn Sun Nah....one of the most original talents i’ve ever seen. Probably because she had already developed her own style that adapted to jazz vocals late in her life. Late in her developing years. She brings tears to my eyes every performance. The beauty of her voice and the originality. Like a Van Morrison or Bobby McFerrin, using her given instrument as just that....love her to death
Using her voice as an instrument of sounds that are both foreign & familiar. Reminds me a bit of Urzula Dudziak...c’est marveilleux, like something you might hear from a caravan of international gypsies
It's been 17 years since I first got to know Youn Sun Nah. I had a privilege to see her a couple of times and I love how she always takes her musical talent to the next level! Hope to have her back in Seoul soon!
I discovered her recently as a result of following the wonderful Ulf Wakenius . He's an incredible guitarist but I think Youn Sun Nah may be the most original musician I've come across in some time. She has virtuosity, imagination, originality and..well, all that's left is taste and she is that too. A unique musical talent.
brian patterson, she has truly taken the use of voice as an instrument to new heights and her willingness to get a little “crazy” like the effects on Enter Sandman” is both bold and innovative.
This concert should have a billion likes! At least a lot a lot a lot more than a poor 580 thumbs up. Jesses, this is soon sun nah singing, ulf and vincent and simon playing. This concert makes my vibrations rattle the universe. People! Hark!!!
Besides discovering her CDs by chance, I could see her performing live at Paris and Brosella, Brussels and I enjoy how she develops continually to integrate her supreme voice with master musicians - what a telent !
