This is war but what happened in the end is both hurting me and making me hope that things will get better. I hope for Hae-in and Hyun-woo nothing but genuine happiness. I think they just really don't know how madly in love they are with each other. Also, Soo-cheol trying to ride a bike for him to teach his son is something that I admire about him. He may not be a good son or sibling but he is a good father even not to his own son.

As I wrote under the previous episode, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won give us an excellent lesson in great acting that continues from the end of the last episode. In learning the truth from Hyun-woo, that he had given up on filing for divorce as soon as he found out about her terminal illness, Kim Ji-won as Hae-in does a masterful job of showing, over the course of the minutes and of his words, her disappointment, disgust and finally anger with a work of facial expressions, of micro-expressions that only the best actors can do, especially when Hyun-woo, discovering that Hae-in has lost the strength to fight against the disease, he decides to be the target of her anger, to give her motivation, becoming the most despicable version of himself, we see how Kim Ji-won is exceptional in instantly changing expressions to keep up with the emotions that your character feels at that moment. Furthermore, when Hyun-woo takes on the role of "bad guy" mentioned above, when he makes the confession to her he does it without even having to pretend, given that what he confesses to her is the pure truth, that is, that life had become unbearable for him with her, but, obviously, this is only part of the truth, since he does not reveal that, in the meantime, the feelings he showed off in these episodes for her were true. In short, I believe it was the highest acting, but also directorial and writing moment that the drama in question has offered and will offer. Despite the great moment of drama offered earlier, in truth, much of the episode is unexpectedly comical, offering us hearty laughs when Hae-in transforms into a "peacock", as her secretary says, while also sporting clothes wonderful, especially the red one which reflects all her desire to take revenge on Hyun-woo; It's a moment I have, jokingly called "dressed to kill." In these scenes you can't help but laugh at Hae-in and Hyun-woo's employees who do everything to keep them from meeting and who have nervous breakdowns waiting for the two to exchange "tease" at work, like when Hae- Hyun-woo's entire team took on a lot of work. Unfortunately, however, the screenwriter is well aware of the unwritten rules of the best Korean dramas and lightens our spirits with all these moments of hilarity, interspersed with the dark plans of Eun-sung, of whom we discover that he is Moh Seul-hee's son ( although it was now obvious given that it had already been announced indirectly for a while), gives us a significant emotional boost, thanks also to the acting support of the aforementioned Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won: Hyun-woo notes Hae- in sheltering the kitten from the rain with the umbrella by asking her what she was doing and it is here, as you have seen, that her illness is progressing rapidly enough to have erased the memory of their trip to Germany and consequently the discovery of the divorce papers ; and this is where you see how a simple scene like this becomes huge thanks to exceptional actors, because it hurts your heart to see Hyun-woo's wrinkled and tear-stained face, while Hae-in has that loving smile for him again that we haven't seen since the last episode, as she hugs him. It's a powerful moment that cannot leave you indifferent; I applaud the entire team who worked on all this because the result is of the highest level. Although I have already mentioned it previously, it is worth mentioning Soo-cheol and Da-hye, where the former, beyond his clumsy and stupid behaviour, as I wrote, becomes the best of men when his energies and feelings are addressed to his wife and son, which unexpectedly touches Da-hye so much that she falters when she feels that she wants to learn to ride a bike so that she can teach it to her son, despite Seon-hwa's overprotective behavior, which stems from tragedy of the death of his firstborn. If there hadn't been The Atypical Family in the meantime, which already shows, in part, a similar dynamic, I would have wanted these two in a drama of their own. Small curiosity: while the war between the two spouses continues, Hae-in's father uses the two bloodhounds who were after Hyun-woo in the first episodes to investigate whether he had a lover. While the two give the report, showing all of Hyun-woo's bizarre moments, Beom-jun, when he sees that nothing turns out, asks if they were negligent, but one of the two asserts that the other colleague is so tenacious that would also find a person in North Korea. This is another self-referential joke quote from the screenwriter of the series, given that, as I already wrote under the video of the first episode, the two actors who play the hounds were in the cast of Crash Landing on You and that the "most tenacious of them two", played by Lim Chul-soo, is precisely the one who in that drama would later track down the protagonist missing in North Korea. Thanks for the reaction.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! You really help me comprehend the drama despite the fact that I have finished watching it months ago. Funny that it took me months to understand some of the parts, but thank you for this! Always 🤗
