Jae and Wonpil: self doubt and criticism (from outside) seem to affect them more than Dowoon and YoungK. Jae has been an emo musician since his early RU-vid days. Wonpil has a tendency to be melancholy. They are both perfectionists. Sungjin: he straddles the mid point among his charge. He’s calm, low key, yet very conscious of being expressive (for the fans). He’s also reserved in private and highly disciplined. What they all have in common is a drive to be more. Show biz is highly competitive. Without a strong desire to succeed, it is hard to stay focused when things don’t go well. Day6 has the added pressure to create content. Writing hits songs is not easy. They have a full plate going on 24/7.
