From December to February there is a high incidence of torrential rain and the possibility of flooding. The best time for this region is mid-March to the end of April (low season starts in April and prices drop) and during this period the region is no longer so crowded. From May onwards the temperature may start to drop with the arrival of winter. As a Brazilian, in the state of São Paulo I recommend the beaches towards the north, especially those in the Ilhabela region (island) and those in the Ubatuba region. The beaches in the south of the state are not as beautiful.
