I made this yesterday it was good, but i have a couple of important notes 1 I used all purpose flour instead of (almond+cake flour) and it was perfectly fine 2 the recipe made 14 cookies (for some reason I thought it would make 8 as shown in the video) 3 It was soggy the next day, therefore i suggest you make an amount that you can freshly eat in one day (so maybe half the recipe) 4 cut the oranges as thin as possible otherwise it will be difficult to bite and would make the cookies unpleasantly moist (because i love oranges i was mistaken and thought it would be better if the slices were on the thicker side, but i was wrong) 5 I suggest you leave the cookies in the oven after you turn it off, to dry for some time (to make them less moist)
I made this and here some note and review. - It is tasty! I love it! My whole house smell like orange! - I use all purpose flour ( I don't have almond flour) and it ture out great and tasty! -I have to add more flour because my mixture is too wet - I reduced the sugar to 50g (I don't like too much sweetness and for me it is good) - I use mandarin oranges (mine is not too sweet but smell really great) -The orange is hard to cut haha. -I rolled the dough too thin and it stick to the sheet after I refrigerated it ( Have to roll it all again) Very nice taste worth try baking it! The cookie taste so good and the orange on top make it more refreshing!
I have watched your videos before bed almost everyday for 3 years, thank you for everything you do! These are so calm and pure, it settles my mind down so well ❤
I've made them and they turned out great! Some notions from my side though: I had to add a bit more flour to my dough, but that might've been due to specifically mine. I would recommend peeling some of the white membrane off, as it will give a bitter taste and also to make sure to cut the oranges thinly (less juicy oranges are actually better for this). The cookies have a great texture, because they are both crisp on the edges and moist in the middle, but leaving them around for more than a day will make them lose their crispness. But if you have guests over, leftovers really shouldn't be a problem ;).
This is so amazing and beautiful video!! Makes me relax so much✨ And it looks so delicious 😋 💕 Thank you for sharing such a valuable recipe always 👍 I’m looking forward for your next video as well😊💕 Have a nice weekend 🍀✨
For some reason I can smell the orange from my phone, but that looked hella delicious I’m so trying and giving to friends. I know you make a lot of desserts but I thought if you had food recipes. It would be helpful since I want to learn how to cook proper meals. And of course by far you will be the best cooking youtuber to exist in my book. I love how you make it so satisfying and I love your videos And I’m super sorry for a long comment Have a nice day the rest of your life, Dessert-Chef❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They were really good! I exchanged the cake flour to rice flour to make it gluten-free. Worked great, the dough were a bit more tricky to work with when cutting out the circles but that could also be because it wasn't quite as cold as it should.
For anyone who wants a cookie equally as visually appealing as these, but don't know/don't want to convert each ingredient into cups, you could just make regular orange zest sugar cookies and add the orange slice on top and bake them. I made them like that and it tastes good regardless
I made a little bit of an orange syrup-jam thing by boiing the orange with sugar and water till it thickens and putting *that* on top of the cookie. I also made half the batch with fresh orange on top like in the video, and let me tell you, I'm gonna make it with the syrup in future. So good. Gonna lessen the sugar in the cookie a little, and no need for the powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
No exagero al decir que nunca he horneado galletas, pero las del vídeo de hoy me encantaron y se ven exquisitas, gracias. Saludos desde Tlalnepantla Edo de México, México.
