Something in the Rain is a superb! It is now the number 1 in my list. It is well-portrayed that you will stop thinking that this is just a drama. I always go back to this whenever I want to feel that inlove feeling. It's either I'm crying the whole time, or I'm laughing with them. There's never a dull moment. Plus the soundtracks and background music will move you.Great job!
This is the 3rd time I watched the whole series again since I first watched it in April 2020. Liked their chemistry so much, as if they're not acting. Seemed so real. Hope the will have another tv series or movie together
When actors have chemistry or when they have developed a good working rapport, be it between female-male; male-male or female-female they get in to their characters without needing much instructions from the director. Ye Jin and Hae In are a perfect example of that chemistry...it also helped that Ye Jin being the veteran of the 2 and anticipating that as a hoobae Jae In might have some hesitations....she has encouraged him to just do what he felt necessary and that sort of permission put him on a comfortable level with her which made so much difference...so he when needed, he no longer hesitate to take the lead. Hae In to me is so transparent with his admiration towards Ye Jin...you can see it in the way he looks at her.
To JTBC Drama I salute you for making a wonderful drama like Something in the Rain. You also chose Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In as a couple in this love story. Every scene is so nice, warm and romantic. Even the song background makes the drama even more colorful. Kudos to all casts!
I really like this Director (Ahn Pan-Seok). Hopefully he makes more series of this nature. I've enjoyed both "One Spring Night" and "Something in the Rain". Both of the series break away from the usual over the top Melodrama that usually have unfathomable back story from start to finish, and stuck to a more human and relatable approach that all viewers can either understand or sympathize for. Looking forward to seeing more of his work. P.S Great Casting.

Its sad that they didnt do it Restaurant scene ep.7 Junhee : “do you know?” She slurps eating her pasta Realizing in the middle of eating scene Then the director says Cut! Its turned out great They both laugh together The suddenly, they hear people singing birthday song Jinah screams : “oh!” And she sings together Saengil chukha hamnida (happy bday to you) Saranghaneun Junhee-ui (to our beloved Junhee) Junhee : “thank you very much! I want to make a wish” Jinah : “he’s wishing...but not long” “Congratulation” Coz of busy, they celebrate it in the middle of shooting Junhee admires the cake before he cuts Jinah : “it looks delicious, cake with cream” Before he cuts Director : “its not 2 million won cake right?” They both laugh Jinah turns to the director : “the presents?” Director : “its in my car” Jinah : “me too...me too” Director : “a precious present” Jinah : “me too...me too” Junhee : “wha this april fool’s day is too much” Its not lying though Jinah : “why he’s bday on april fool?” Junhee’s smirking at her Jinah : “wait! It's beautiful drama....their chemistry was beyond the level in that drama....lovely how she still as beautiful as ever ....I watched her very long time...her looks and beauty still same...I envy her...love her too...
I just finished watching it and OMG! I love the story and of course the actors. They're both so perfect in their roles. I felt young again with this drama. I really love them. I love this drama, especially because of Jung Haein & Son YeJin, the playlist is good too, and the typical troubles of dating because of family expectations, pressures from work, family &. Friends. Friendships are tested & morals & standards are overlooked due to the desires of the heart ❤️.
