Haylie Joy yes it’s very confusing?? like, did she do something to y’all? or do y’all really think she did sza wrong with this cover? there was no disrespect on her part that i’m aware of. she not only enjoys sza’s music, but she worked very hard on her pronunciation to make it sound better for everyone - yet that’s what people are complaining about?

im surprised to see the comments talking about her pronunciation.. i came here to actually commend her pronunciation, i was so shocked! I'm not used to hearing korean artists with such impeccable and on point american accent while singing.. I stan this woman now.
Wait is she not fluent in English? Bc her pronunciation is perfect, she doesn't has issues with any of the syllables that only korean speakers have. All y'all criticizing but have any of you actually tried singing this on beat? It's hella hard, and it's even damn hard for a native english speaker to find the right moment to catch a breath without missing a beat and the lyrics. I've heard SZA sing live and even she had difficulties singing some her own songs at times. The notes are seriously on point and her voice is crisp af. Some serious talent tbh.
KC Hjra i’m very confused as well.. i think she sounds great. first kpop video i’ve seen where the majority of the comments are critiquing a solo idols performance. i don’t see this kind of feedback in other girl group songs, when maybe two out of 6 or so can sing well - the rest mediocre or rap-focused entirely. even for other soloists or gg solo projects, you don’t see this kind of feedback. it’s odd. where’s it coming from? why do a lot of people suddenly have a lot to say for this particular person? when in fact, whether or not she lacks emotion, she’s got a great tone and great control. not to mention, i think her face is just fine and that seems to have been brought up as an issue as well - that the faces she makes while singing are unattractive? i don’t understand why that is relevant to her singing which is the focus here.
Everybody on the top comment section "what's with the hate?" but all I see are good comments about this cover. :) She did so good. Her tone. Her breathing technique. Her runs. She sounds natural and in tune with this track, like she knows it by heart. Any SZA fan could tell.

What yall talking bout, she got hella swag and actually sings like she an western r&b singer. Love her voice, just cause she aint singing like she a korean ballad singer doesnt mean she cant sing or trying too hard.
I think people don't realize how much concentration and work it takes to sing a song that's on a foreign language you might not know in and out, that's a faster paste then the paste you are comftable with and with a singing voice that might not be a natural gift but rather took a lot of time and work to accomplish to sing in key at all. People who never tried to do a thing they critique so harshly are always the loudest. Don't add up to me.
I love her tone, it’s kinda gritty, it fits the song bc it’s difficult to pull off sza without an interesting tone, bc her songs are wordy, She did great. sza would love this. ❤️
I love moon’s voice so much!!! When she does cover, i dont really care how the song really sounds like. She sounds really beautiful and thats what matter the most
It's good, I can understand why some are put off a bit because she's trying to hard to control certain pronunciations or like parts of the song sound a little to harsh but overall it's a good cover
It's funny to see those typical Amuricans in the comment section still criticizing her pronunciation although she is Asian and English is not her first language. I think if Amuricans tryin to sing Korean songs, Koreans will just say like "great job guys and thank you for the nice song and keep up the great works" unlike Muricans. Murican thinks that every Asians speaks just like them and their mother tongue is English lol
